The old woman who lived in a shoe
Been meaning to share this picture I came across some time ago. Some of you may want to frame it :)

Here is the old Mother Goose rhyme:
There was an old woman who lived in a shoe.
She had so many children she didn't know what to do.
She gave them some broth without any bread.
Then whipped them all soundly and put them to bed.
Anyone want to try a rewrite?
More takes on the old woman in the shoe.

There was an old woman who lived in a shoe
She had many children, and she knew what to do!
She gave them some broth and some yummy brown bread.
Then she kissed them all sweetly and put them to bed.

Thanks!

There was an old lady who lived in a shoe.
She had many children and knew just what to do.
She gave them some hugs, some tender, sweet care,
Then sent them to bed with kisses and prayer.

Mrs.C,
I love the new photo! You look sweet. The color of the shirt seems to compliment you too.

What fun!
There was a nice woman who had lots of love
She had many children, all gifts from above
She gave them guidance in her gentle way
and savored the joy they brought to her day.

There was a woman who with the support of her man
Raised all of their children as best as they can
They didn't have much but always put food on the table
Their kids grew up to be kind and respectable
