VA, NJ wins - even a victory in NY-23 loss
There's a lot to keep up with. Just want to affirm that today is a day of celebration as two states paid their respect to Our Glorious Leader and his radical agenda by electing GOP governors. In Virginia, Bob McDonnell won by a whopping 18% and carried northern counties which had voted for Obama in 2008, turning a red state blue. In New Jersey, Republican Chris Christie won by 4% over incumbent Corzine - the first time in 12 years the GOP has won a major seat in NJ.Even the NY- 23 race - in which the GOP honchos selected a Pelosi-type candidate (Planned Parenthood Margaret Sanger award, ties to ACORN and SEIU) to fill a vacancy - was a victory. The Democrats won, but the conservative wing of the party showed that they WILL NO LONGER TOLERATE RINO candidates. Anyone who says that is the path to winning needs only to be shown a picture of Ronald Reagan and one of John McCain and sing the Sesame Street song: one of these things is not like the other."
Major GOP-affiliated - but not controlled - conservatives threw their support to the Conservative candidate Doug Hoffman and his numbers mounted so swiftly that DeDe Scozzafava dropped out of the race - which might have meant a win for Hoffman in a traditionally Republican district. But DeDe wasn't through and, showing her true colors, she aggressively campaigned for the Democrat. This after taking 900,000 from the GOP for her campaign.
Michelle Malkin has a great piece today on this - and how we can send a message to the GOP elites that we will no longer support a party that supports candidates who do not support our values:
The GOP elite's $1 million object lesson -- and the message of NY-23
Conservatives owe NY-23 candidate Doug Hoffman immeasurable gratitude. He overcame impossible odds (single digits just a month ago) to come within two points of defeating Democrat Bill Owens. Hoffman had zero name recognition. National Republican Party officials dumped nearly $1 million into the race on behalf of radical leftist GOP candidate Dede Scozzafava, who then turned around, endorsed Owens and siphoned off 5 percent of the vote with her name still on the ballot after she dropped out.
Conservatives' money went to pay for specious attack ads against Hoffman run by the NRCC like this.
Conservatives' money went to support a GOP candidate who shares the same socialist alliances with fellow SEIU/ACORN/New Party/Working Families Party activist Patrick Gaspard, the Obama White House political director who intervened in the race to secure Scozzafava's endorsement of Owens.

Shame on the Republican party!! I am so happy to see the American people finally waking up and doing something about it. this is not about parties but about values. Go America, reclaim the values that the Founding Founders fought so hard for. :) doing the happy dance. :)
