Children's Christmas Gifts - music appreciation
Three key points on choosing children's gifts:
*You don't have to spend a lot to impress a child. The key is understanding the things that bring children joy.
*Kids' gifts should be chosen not for their ability to entertain the child, but on releasing his potential to entertain himself:
*Childhood is the time to introduce an appreciation for many areas of culture - and a time for parents to stretch themselves beyond what they grew up with so as to offer more.
With those thoughts in mind, let me suggest getting your children musical instruments for Christmas. If you have a number of children, this will also get them involved in an activity together - put on some music (suggestions under Barbara's Picks) and let them go:
