Final push to defeat health care "reform"
I've been backing off politics to fill my lungs with the fresh air of Christmas, but it's important to rally our forces today. All of you need to make a few phone calls.Yesterday 5000 people showed up at the US Capitol for a last minute Code Red Event promoted by Laura Ingraham.
It is amazing that the Democrats are refusing to get the message that the vast majority of the American people do not want their 2000+ page convoluted power grab.
2000 pages! Did you know our Constitution is only 4 pages long?
Think about it: the stated goal was to help those without health care - and the current bill will fine those without health care $1000. Say what?
Obama's numbers are plummeting. These representatives' and senators' jobs are on the line if they pass this harmful legislation - and yet they are ready to fall on their swords in order to steer America toward a more fascist state.
O&Co are using threats and bribes and Chicago strong arm tactics - just because Obama wants to claim at his State of the Union address in January that he "fixed" health care.

We need to have the same urgency and intensity level that we displayed at the Congressional Town Hall Meetings during the August recess. We must not diminish our fight to defeat the Senate healthcare bill. Many "Blue Dog" Democrats and some GOP Senators have stated that they don't see the same intensity level opposing the Senate Healthcare bill that we displayed opposing the House version. They are beginning to believe that we do not strongly oppose the Senate Healthcare bill. We need to let them know that is not true. The latest Rasmussen Poll showed that 60% oppose this healthcare bill. We need you to make phones calls to the Senators listed below. |
