    The Little Red Hen
Hooray for a good work ethic! The little red hen asks but receives no help in her efforts to put bread on the table. Yet all who wouldn't help would like to eat. In a refreshingly old-fashioned triumph of moral consequences, they don't get to!
  • Noisy Nora
    Noisy Nora
Poor Nora! The loveable mousette experiences all the pangs of the child-in-the- middle, caught between the demands of baby brother and bossiness of big sister. Catchy meter, playful illustrations make for a wonderfully satisfying mouse's tale. Baby-Preschool

MommyLife hits 2 million mark

hearts.jpg Earlier today, MommyLife had its 2 millionth visit (according to Sitemeter - Awstats is currently recording 8000 visits/day). Thanks to all of you who find something worth while here!

And a special shout-out to a few trolls who get agitated enough to speak up every once in a while - I am so gratified that you continue to read me in spite of our differences. I hope someday we might meet in person and become more real people who share some common ground.

As a writer now liberated from the time constraints/delays imposed by print media, all I can say is that I give thanks to God each day for the Internet and the opportunity provided me to be here for anyone who wants to listen.

We have a group of readers here who are not only wise, but generous and gracious in their wisdom. Many of you provide the news and commentary leads that make this a more well-rounded site. Thanks also to all of you who share your parenting experience with others.

So many of you have become so dear to me. Please know that I think of you and pray for you each day. I hope you will continue to do the same for me.

Love,

Dear Barbara - you were one of my first discoveries when I started blogging and have been a guiding light ever since. What an awesome responsibility you have - I pray that you can keep focused on Him and serve well. God love you and yours and your 2 million followers!

While we have disagreed greatly over the years, I have come to appreciate your insight into issues that I now understand better. I was very narrow minded when I started reading you but God worked on my heart (and still is!) about a lot of things. I'm am not the same person that I was when I started reading and I attribute that to you among several other ladies on the internet. Thanks again for all you do!
