Obama: instead of defending America, puts us at risk

obama_golf.jpgRegular readers here know that I have been pretty relentless in pointing out how Obama's insistence on campaigning for President of the World, dissing our allies and kissing up to our enemies, making targets of conservatives while playing softball with terrorists, reneging on promises of transparency and bipartisanship, and putting his own pleasure above homeland security.

Like most Americans, I'm disgusted with where the Left has brought us - after years of demonizing George Bush, who kept us safe for seven years following 9/11 and who was a big enough man to say The Buck Stops Here. Who cared more about carrying out his responsibility as a leader than his percentages in the plls.

The temptation to say I Told You So is muted by the fact that there is no satisfaction in having been right about a presidential candidate thrust upon us by our Tired Old Media whose background and associations made it clear would end up harming our country in many ways - one of which was by never being up to the task of defending America against Islamic Terrorism.

And besides, I believe the worst is yet to come.

In regards to the latest breach in our national security as well as Napolitano's shockingly ridiculous response and the 3-day delayed and rather robotic response of our president, pulled away for a few minutes from his luxurious vacation (think how they would have crucified Bush for cintinuing a vacation in these circumstances!), there is a lot to read and ponder out there.

If you have time to read only one article, this is a good choice. The British press has done a consistently better job at providing news about our country than our Tired Old Media:

UK Telegraph: Barack Obama gets an 'F' for protecting Americans

Pajamas Media: Obama's Shameful Handling of National Security Issues: A cool and aloof president isn't what we need right now. We need someone who's willing to fight. Plus many more articles at PJM.

American Thinker: Obama's Second Major Terror Failure in Two Months

In fairness, I will grant that no president or no one man can make us safe from terrorist. Having acknowledged that, I repeat your sentiments in the article: "Obama's insistence on campaigning for President of the World, dissing our allies and kissing up to our enemies, making targets of conservatives while playing softball with terrorists, reneging on promises of transparency and bipartisanship, and putting his own pleasure above homeland security." I could add more descriptive points to the points I have just quoted in your article,
but these points are enough to describe the general situation.
