What a contrast with a President who favors promoting Muslim holidays - did you know that the day before Thanksgiving he issued a special Hajj message (and why do these always sound more enthusiastic than any of his throwaway notes on American holidays? - and who seems to feel so uncomfortable with the US role of defender of freedom:
