Tiger Woods: didn't anyone care?

tiger woods.jpg I don't have a lot to say about Tiger Woods, but isn't it unbelievable that no one cared enough about him to intervene in his out-of-control behavior?

And my question to you moms and dads: have you talked to your children about this? So often we don't realize that they are listening to what's going on. We need to help them process this fall from grace/celebrity pedestal. Anyone want to share their talking points?

Here are a few that come to mind:

  • Fame and fortune do not satisfy. Only God can do that.
  • Actions have consequences.

  • We need friends who will hold us accountable.

He really did have a lot to lose.

So well put, Barbara!

Been praying for him...so easy to just suicide at this point when things are darkest. Praying for someone he trusts to have words of wisdom for him at this point. No hole is too deep.

But you know, we see this over and over...mostly with the Mousekateer girls. Once you have a certain measure of fame and the riches that come with it, your 'friends' are all there for a piece of the pie. Intervention could kill the golden goose, so why go there?

Very sad.
