Vickie Farris needs our prayers

Vickie has found out that she has chronic Lyme Disease as well as interstitial cystitis. The conditions are interrelated. She was getting better in the pain department until about a week ago when she began a new course of antibiotics for the Lyme. This has caused a serious upswing in her pain levels--back as bad as it was in September. Her practitioner (who is a homeschooling mom and a true expert on the disease) has suspended the antibiotics. Please pray that she will be relieved of the pain.

I know you will want to be praying for Vickie, Mike and their family. They have done so much for others - and probably have much left to do.

The reason your pain level went up is because you are herxing. j. Herxheimer discovered years ago that when bacteria are being killed they give off toxins which make you feel worse. It is a good sign,but herxes can be very severe! I am doing the Marshall Protocol for my Lyme and Dr. Marshall has a system of controlling the severity of the herxes. I was just thinking of Vickie the other day and praying for her. Thank you so much for the update. It helps to know the specifics.. I am so VERY thankful to this family for the work they have done over the years.
