How to Save a Life - The Fray

Grateful for my adult kids who've taught me about Indie. Just think: If I'd stopped having kids at a reasonable age, i would have missed so much wonderful music.

One of my favorites - How to Save a Life:

I'll always love this song.

Love,

Barbara, I got a chuckle out of the comment "If I'd stopped having kids at a reasonable age, i would have missed so much wonderful music." Something about the "reasonable age" part! I have a 20 year old and a 2 month old. I suspect I will be introduced to many more years of wonderful music!

Have a blessed day!

I have always loved the piano in the song, but found it hard to understand the words, so I really enjoyed reading them and finally "getting" the song. I find this a problem when I listen to my kids' music preferences. I often like the melody or instrument parts, but can't hear the words properly. But when I get to literally hear the words or read them, then I can understand why they like their songs. Thanks for this one.
Diane, my 10 kids are 20 years apart almost exactly too! Julie

Oh, my, that song was what I believe is called "thought-provoking". It certainly did me. And, btw, I thought my kids were far apart. I do have 2 that are 18 yrs. apart but I also have one in the middle. I've often wondered how (boring) my life would be if I hadn't had my youngest.
