Whose Christmas tree is still up?

Just wondering because ours is.

Not a needle on the floor. I don't know how we lucked out this year, but we have a tree that looks good to go for at least another month!

dead Christmas tree.jpgBefore you go getting jealous though, you should know I've paid my dues. One year - when I was a single mother of two girls, I carried our tree proudly home on top of our little red Kharmann Ghia, wrestled it up in the tree stand (now I can't imagine doing that as I've had a husband to rely on for 27 years). Samantha, Jasmine and I decorated it and three days later it was dead.

So dead I had to remove all the ornaments, tie it back on my trusty little KG and haul it back to the place I got it to demand a new one.

Life has its ups and downs :)

Love,

Ours is, too! The needles are falling out and my husband says that it is time to put it away. :( Some tradition states that Christmas decorations should be put away by the Meeting of the Lord (Candlemas) which is February 2nd, so you have a few more weeks!

Ours is up! We always celebrate Fete des Rois on January 6, so it stays up longer. The ornament boxes did come down from the attic today, so hopefully the decorations will put themselves away! :) BTW, multiple congratulations to Maddy and her proud family. (Now that tune keeps floating through my head!) Very exciting!

Ours is still up. We just took down the ornaments today.

Ours too. We were traveling over the holidays and didn't get to see it much. The ornaments are off. I still have my late Father's train set around it. It is the only time of the year I get to see the train so that is contributing to the procrastination on my part.

Ours is up. It is bare, having been duly undressed with the return of Ordinary Time this past Monday. But it's still waiting for my husband of 22 years to take it away. (He may be waiting for ALL the needles to hit the floor first.)

Ours is down. We took it down on Epiphany. The boys were in charge of removing it..a Leyland Cypress. It had become so dry it was like trying to hold onto a porcupine. They still talk about it. I'm not allowed to get one of those next year :)

Ours is up. But it is a fake because a real one causes asthma attacks in our home. It is coming down tomorrow. But I have said that all week. Ugh!

Maybe be I should wait and hang eggs on it. Easter is a bit early this year.

Mine is...I am supposedly staying up late tonight to take it down, but here I am catching up on Google reader instead. I do really need to take it down, as we're having a party tomorrow that is decidedly NOT a Christmas party!

Mine is still up. We always leave it up until the Baptism of the Lord, but this past week it was just because there was no time. No school tomorrow though, so it is coming down.

Our is a fake tree but it is still up. So is the train around it which is part of the reason that none of the kids want me to take it down.

Took the tree down yesterday (Sunday)! We love our Christmas tree every year.

Our tree (and yes, it is real) is still up and going strong, though I don't know how on earth it's surviving this long!

Mine are still up too - all 3 of them, plus the outdoor decorated trees! I haven't been home long enough to even remove the ornaments yet, but guess that job will get done this weekend.
