Middleburg: Haiti Benefit concert tonight - Maddy too
MIDDLEBURG VA - Project Helping Hand Haiti
Feb 26 2010 - 7:30pmAndrew McKnight will be appearing in a benefit for Haiti tonight at the Middleburg Community Center. Maddy Curtis will sing, including a duet with Tom Sweitzer.
In addition, many local artists have donated work to an auction. The Washington Capitals, former Redskin Ken Harvey, Robert Duval and Hunt Country's finest artists are completing their tablecloths to auction, as well as local artists Kevin Chadwick, Tom Neel, Joan Gardner and Lilla Ohrstrom and many area residents.
Tuttie Perricone and friends will preview their performance of Nunsense.
Tickets are $25 available at the door. The Community Coalition for Haiti, the partner in the benefit and the beneficiary of the event, has set up a restricted fund so that 100% of donations will be used to help those in need in the worst-hit areas of Haiti.
