Minnesotans for Global Warming - Frozen Wasteland

I really don't want to say anything negative about snow. We've had too many barely-a-snowflake winters here.

And the weekend snow was absolutely gorgeous. But we got another foot last night and this one isn't so lovely because we've had this fierce wind blowing all day. I don't know if it's this in points east, but here in Bluemont, it sounds like a hurricane out there. It gets on your nerves after so many hours.

Maddy and I haven't been anywhere since Thursday night. Tripp and the Big Boyz went to Costco Monday in between storms and also drove Matt to catch the bus for New York yesterday for today's audition. He's snowed in up there - which is good because there's no way we could pick him up.

Maria sent me this from Minnesotans for Global Warming: Pretty funny:

Wow, that was a great video, and their website is hilarious and informative, I am going to have to go there often. Thanks!

Yes, we Minnesotans are very creative. Have you seen this? It's only a few miles from my home....

Don't miss the response to Frozen Wasteland which you can also see here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1b-6U5MwyDM

It's the one with two women in the picture.

Here is the lead in:

"As chief operating officer for the cabal of Billionaires who control the global warming scam, Hitler quickly realizes the long range implications of "Glaciergate"."

This page will take you to a blow up of the startlingly captioned thumbnail:

I echo Rachel: If We Had Some Global Warming is an absolute classic, and you MUST watch it. Frozen Wasteland makes you giggle, but the other one makes you lose control, it's so hilarious.

I'm just glad to see that the Church of Global Warming seems to be falling apart. We all need to produce less garbage, conserve resources, and take care of the environment. It's part of being good stewards of the earth. (Besides that, it's the frugal thing to do!). But this has gone way overboard, and has become more a tool of control than anything else!

It reminds me of a column I wrote as a take-down of Al Gore a while ago!

Blessings!
