Stop the "r" word - take the pledge
As I said in my Crosswalk article What About the "R" Word? Does It Matter?
As I write this, 71, 627 have signed the pledge to stop using this word. If you do seize this teachable moment with your family, this is a great follow-up.

Wasn't sure if you saw this clip on the Olympics, but it seemed like a great tribute to a family with a Down syndrome child. . . definitely viewing their child as a blessing. Thought you might like to comment and share.
