Obama won't support Dems who vote no on healthcare
What kind of threat is that?It sounds like another good reason for Dems to vote no. After all, having Obama campaign for you is the final nail in the coffin.

Barack Obama threatens to withdraw support from wavering Democrats
Barack Obama has said he will not campaign for any Democratic congressmen who fails to support health care reform.

A one-night presidential appearance can bring in hundreds of thousands of dollars in funds which would otherwise take months to accumulate through cold-calling by campaign volunteers.
Mr Obama's threat came as the year-long debate over his signature domestic policy entered its final week.
Mr Obama is personally telephoning congressmen who are still on the fence this week, in between several personal appearances devoted toward swinging public opinion.

When I think about what Obama's campaigning did for Coakley in Massachusetts, this article actually gives me hope!

To me it sounds like they don't have the votes to pass the healthcare bill. What a dumb grade school style threat.
Aren't Dems compelled to vote no now?

And now his true, childlike tantrums come out! Can we say "spoiled brat?" Only a child that has been given everything in their life would deal with adversity in this threatening manner. I hope the Dems that are currently saying no will look at this with that raised eyebrow of an experienced parent and go "I still said no."
