Rahmobama Chicago thuggery comes to DC
I don't have time to write about politics today, but it is HOT!!!
The Rahmobama Machine is doing WHATEVER IT TAKES to shove this socialized medicine package down the throats of the American people - who fall into two groups:
- those who are hip to what is going on and know Rahmobamacare is bad news for the republic.
- those on the Obama bandwagon who have not read the bill and do not understand how they personally will be hurt by the massive power grab represented in this bill.
It is unbelievable to me that the precipitating problem was uninsured Americans - none of whom would ever be denied health care under our current system and who would be covered by the hospital or donors absorbing the cost - and yet we end up with a 2700+ bill that will cost trillions and actually charge uninsured people with fines or jail.
Now, one by one reluctant Democrats are being bribed, threatened, and blackmailed.

And always, especially Pundit & Pundette. I have had the privilege of sitting and chatting with Pundette. She is brilliant and witty and since she writes strictly about politics and culture, she is thorough.
Listen to Rush. Or if you are busy when he is on, it's worth it to get a subscription and listen to the broadcast later without commercials.
I have two words for everyone: Animal Farm. If you haven't read it lately, read it again. And commit to resisting this tyrannical takeover of our country.

Funny...
We are traveling, and staying with my daughter in Texas. John, my 11-year-old son is a book lover and has to have something to read at all times. He was browsing the shelves here and found "Animal Farm". I thought he'd just enjoy a good read, but he really got into it and we ended up having some good discussions about Communism, socialism and our current situation. That's what I LOVE about homeschooling, we can be so spontaneous, and I think John learned more because he chose to do the book and it is so timely right now.
