Survival and self-reliance books
A friend sent me a link to a book with an intriguing title - When There Is No Doctor: Preventive and Emergency Healthcare in Uncertain Times (Process Self-reliance Series)
I can imagine teenage and young adult children would be very interested in many of these titles too - and since they acquire information faster than we do, that would make them (the kids and the books) very handy to have around if and when the time comes that we need to put the skills to use:
