VSA Cinderella at Franklin Park 3/5-3/14
Jonny, Jesse and Daniel are once again appearing in the annual Very Special Arts play. This will be Jonny's seventh play with VSA and his brothers came on board a couple years later. Daniel was in a few plays, but prefers being in the audience to being on stage.
Very Special Arts is an amazing theater company that offers an opportunity for actors of all different ability levels to work together on an original play each year. VSA has earned a wonderful reputation in Loudoun, drawiing sold-out audiences each year, This year's production opens Friday night:
CinderellaThis is another original musical written by our most gracious founder, Alice Power. It is a fantastic rendition of the "Cinderella" classic we have all gown up with and love. The characters you all know and love are included in this wonderful story, from the evil Step Mother and Step Sisters, to the Prince, magical God mother and of course Cinderella herself!
We are very lucky to have all of our supporting staff back again this year. Ben Shoenberger is Directing, Tom Sweitzer Music Director, Kellie Goossens Choreography, Nancy Hutchenson Costume Design, and Rick Conway Set Design.
This production is building up to be one of our very best and we are working with an all time record size cast, with over 70 cast members that make up this years Musical! We are so excited by this, but also we recognize we a large challenge this will be, but we are all up for it and excited by it! It is very fulfilling to see how much our organization is reaching out and being recognized in our communities as an organization providing a service that families are in need of! There is no greater compliment!
