Host a city kid for two weeks - make a difference!
This sounds like such a great program! I have submitted an application for our family to host someone - especially hoping it can help them accommodate a child with Down syndrome:
As someone who grew up in the inner city in a culturally disadvantaged household, I know it was my early fleeting glimpses of strong, healthy families that planted seeds which would one day motivate me to become a better mother.
These Fresh Air folks are really on to something. Two weeks can make a really big difference in a child's life.
