In the meantime, if you have sons who might be of help, ask them to show you and your daughters some self-defense moves/strategies. Zach has shared some deadly reactions with us. Tripp has also armed all the women in our house with Pepper Spray.

Funny you should mention this. I told my husband this morning that I was going to sign up my oldest daughter (17) and myself for self-defense classes. She will be a senior this year in high school and after that...college. I hope she never needs these skills but I'll feel a little better if she has them.

This was a great night! I dragged my little sister with me last year and had a blast! A retired detective leads the session with some alarming statistics and real-life stories from cases he has worked (sobering but we all need to hear it). Then you get to have some real fun and pummel your partner with some slick defensive tactics taught by instructors at LCSD. Have a great time! I wish I still lived in LoCo-the county has some great offerings to its residents. I'm sure that you and the girls will have agreat time:-)
