Maddy sings - Josh on guitar
Maddy has four singing engagements this weekend (and I actually turned down a couple more). It is so great to see and hear her so often! Today's was a fundraiser in Dulles. Big brother Josh played guitar - and looked totally cool.
They had two sets with 3 hours in between - just enough time for the three of us to go see a movie. We chose Robin Hood, though Josh said it had gotten only 56% on Rotten Tomatoes. After 2 1/2 very long hours, I could see why. . .
[Oh, I just checked and it's down to 45%!]
Tomorrow he is accompanying her again for a women's luncheon at Purcellville Baptist. Then she is off to the first read-through of Little Women. She got the role of Beth in McLean Players upcoming production.
Monday back to reality - school. And trying to figure out how we can put together a more creative experience for her senior year.
