U. S. Census Swahili satire

Here's a quick little remix of the Census "It's Easy" video that the U.S. Census Bureau produced in 63 languages [who knew?]. Their original Swahili version got 61 views:

The German one is awful. It sounds like someone who does the voices for a beginning learning German tape. Besides that, there are definitely mistakes - for example, there is no such word as "Frageboden" (which appears in the beginning). No wonder they disabled comments!

Don't know whether to laugh or cry. I filled in our census form and mailed it in. I made sure to put "American" for the race of all in my family. We got a call over the weekend to "verify that the information is correct". My husband ruined my good fun because he was asked if anyone was black or latino and he says "No" and then the person asked "so you're white" and my husband responds "yes". ugg... I wish I had answered the phone. Than again, he said the person couldn't read the script he was given because he was told "Thank you for your precipitation."

OK, I am feeling a little better (and a little silly). I missed when I first looked at this that it was satire..... although I must say after reading the census form it it doesn't really seem all that satirical. More of a reading between the lines.
