G8/G20 protests - and the Tea Party mobs
You all know I am a great admirer of Michelle Obama's Mirror's Blog.You certainly won't want to miss her G8/20 commentary, which compares and contrasts the allegedly angry/violent/anarchical Tea Party protests with the actual craziness of the G8/20 protests - which were scary as ever:

Also, could someone explain to me why they're always having to have these meetings? They must feel very important! But it's costing the "little people" a lot to dress them up and send them out and keep them secure and well fed while they get their pictures taken together.
Extra credit for anyone who wants to explain the difference between the G8 and the G20. I'm too busy to sort it all out now.

Thank you soooo much for the compliments and link.
I think I can help you out here. The G20 is sort of like the UN General Assembly. It's composed of a whole bunch of leaders of otherwise irrelevant countries. G20 members, like the UN General Assembly members, get to trash America and demand money from US taxpayers.
The G8 is sort of like the UN Security Council. They make all the real decisions and are the only ones that count.
