Perhaps the reason he looked so uncomfortable in the Oval Office address is because he has probably spent about 20 minutes there since he took office 17 months ago.
And btw, didn't he look kind of silly? I didn't watch the Obama Show that night, but watched a little on YouTube today. What was with the hands? I like what Peggy Noonan said in A Snakebit President:
Throughout the speech the president gestured showily, distractingly, with his hands. Politicians do this now because they're told by media specialists that it helps them look natural. They don't look natural, they look like Ann Bancroft gesticulating to Patty Duke in "The Miracle Worker."As far back as the campaign, people were speculating whether Obama's excessive finger pointing and strange speech patterns create an hypnotic effect .
But what is wrong with this man that he has to have his ego stoked constantly by appearing in campaign mode all over the United States to sell legislation that has already passed - against the will of the American people? I guess like most liberals, he's not content just to get his way but will never rest until we are all in thrall to his agenda.
Please, Your Gloriousness, stay home for a few days and give us a break. You have made America into a banana republic where the citizenry is subjected to your face 24/7.

Obama is always irritating to watch, I prefer to just hear the hightlights with commentary by Rush, Hannity, Levin or any other conservative. I also cannot believe so many construction workers get no pay for the day while Obama gives a short speech. That is so awful! He does not seem to think of anyone but himself.
