What's keeping me busy
So, home from Pittsburgh, but still not much time to blog.
Saturday my sweet granddaughter Lilly came to spend all day. Sophia and Maddy were wonderful aunties and Jonny, Jesse, Daniel and Justin the entertaining uncles. We were so enthralled, we forgot to take pictures.
I was also busy packing up the four boys for Easter Seals camp - meaning a week of clothes, clean and marked with Sharpies. Some of you moms will appreciate what a monumental task that was. But I felt like I'd accomplished a lot as I packed each suitcase with each boy.
We all went to 5:00 Mass, which left Sunday free for me. Maddy went to church anyway and then off to spend time with her sweetheart Eddie. Which left Sophia and me on our own. We blew off the popular movies out here in the boonies and headed toward DC to the artsy theater in Shirlington, where we saw Winter's Bone - I will comment more when I have time.
I have also been devouring the brand new book by Hillary McFarland - Quivering Daughters - which I will be reviewing soon.
But this morning Maddy and I are off to the National Shrine where we are going to 8:30 Mass, then meeting with representatives from the Archdiocese of Washington DC to talk about Maddy's possible involvement in the March for Life in January.
Will write more - and share pictures - when I return later this afternoon.

Barbara, I am very curious about the Quivering Daughters book. I looked up her website...It sounds like a really tricky sticky type of topic since so many families joyfully give God the size of their family...and yet, it sounds like there's also a problem with some of these types of families? Hmmm sticky. Can't wait to see what you thought of the book.
