1958 speech predicting plans to destroy America
I remember when I was a little girl that the John Birch Society was ridiculed as a bunch of racist, conspiracy-theory crackpots.
Listen to this 1974 speech - which opens with Robert Welch quoting his 1958 speech and see if you think his analysis was far-fetched. Compare with how the Propaganda Press ridicules Rush, Glenn Beck, Laura Ingraham, et al.
The only difference today is that we have a thriving alternative media to keep the citizenry informed. Even Obama's supporters are starting to realize the negative impacts to come on their own lives - unless they are government workers or handout recipients.
Mind blowing speech by Robert Welch in 1958 predicting Insiders plans to destroy America
Each of us has a sphere of influence. Each of us have the responsibility to use it to spread the truth before we lose our country completely. The Obama Regime may be the best thing that could have happened if it wakes up enough of the citizenry and if we can wrest back our country from a corrupt cohort - like Attorney General Eric Holder and Big Sis Janet Napolitano - who are even now working to fix the 2008 election.

I posted this speech on my blog as well and had an interesting exchange with a guy who has done a lot of research on John Birch. His thesis, however, is that the FBI said they were kooks and that's that. I've been digging a little deeper, trying to find out why they were ridiculed so. The fluoride in the water controversy was one area of mockery. But the fact remains that fluoride is the most electronegative element in the periodic table, and no one really wants to drink tap water straight anymore. Studies have shown that areas without fluoridation do not have statistically significantly higher tooth decay rates. It also begs the question, that if they can put one substance in the water, what else can they be putting in the water?
What got Robert Welch in trouble with the FBI was that he wrote a book called The Politician that accused Eisenhower of having communist sympathies. The knee-jerk reaction is to roll the eyes and dismiss, but if you replace the word communist with collectivist and look at those surrounding him and their connections, it is not surprising that some would find this concerning.
