Construction workers to boycott Ground Zero mosque
Won't Lift Finger to Build Ground Zero Mosque

Notice he predicted the "teachable moment" from Obama . . . .which happened when Obama used the White House Ramadan dinner (who would have ever thought?) to lecture us on "religious tolerance."

The unions have a rare opportunity to cultivate a lot of public goodwill here, by refusing any work.
I wonder if they will take the opportunity. My opinion of them would rise tenfold if they did. Shoot, I might even refuse to cross a picket line.

God bless this construction worker. We need more real Americans like him.
If Mayor Bloomberg is the NYC's "Crazy Uncle" then
Obama is now the national "Crazy Uncle."

I love what he said about Bloomberg, Obama and Rangle, lol! I absolutely love the fact that so many Americans are starting to stand up and speak out about the things going on. I just pray that their efforts work and that the mosque is not built.

I'm a New Yorker who wishes some discussion and pressure were put on the group that wants to build this mosque. I think it's in very bad taste. My feelings are not shared by many NYers, and the the workers that are making the headlines a side, it looks like the plans have already been made, including the labor. This is not something that suddenly arose. It has been carefully planned for a long time.
Someone needs to publicly address the group owning the land and get a face for Americans to identify as responsible for this idea, and to tell them that this is not what American want or will tolerate despite the support of the locals, and that their sensitivities would go a long way in this matter. We haven't gotten anyone who will do this. Everything is addressed to the nameless here.
