Preparing your child for kindergarten

starting kindergarten.jpgYour input requested by a longtime ML reader:

Hi Barbara,

I was wondering if you knew any good books about kindergarten? My son is starting this fall (can you believe it!?) and we're looking for books that will help explain the routine of school to him.

I've looked at a lot of books on amazon and they seem to mostly be focused on kids who are scared or apprehensive about starting school. This isn't a problem for our son, I'm just worried about how he will adjust from a stay at home environment, to a school environment. Does that make sense?

Anyway, I thought you might have some good recommendations. Feel free to post this question to your readers! Thanks!

Lauren

Hoping you all will have some ideas. . . .
