Harp concertos for calm home, calm kids
My friend Debbie called today to ask if I had any advice for dealing with an aging parent with assorted issues. Her description of her mom's behavior reminded me of some of my special needs kids' - and frankly, I was stumped.
But there is one thing I know that will turn around the tone of a home: classical music
This is my favorite CD to play in the morning to get my kids off to a good start - or any time I want to create a pleasing atmosphere in my home:

You can listen to samples and buy it here or download an MP3 album here
Be selective in choosing gentle, calming pieces:
W.A. Mozart - Concerto per arpa e flauto, K.299 - Andantino
(so calming after my last post - Go, Western Civilization!)
Comments
I bought this a couple years ago on your advice here. I listen to it often. The music is calming and beautiful.
