Safer baby doll by Corolle - adorable, too

Since my youngest daughter is now 17, it's been a long time since I bought a baby doll. Today I clicked on this and immediately fell in love with the look - the read on to discover this baby doll is made with a safer kind of material - and that the company stands by their product. There were 10 5-star reviews and no negatives. Here are a few:
I did a bit of research to find a safer vinyl baby doll for my child. I tried cloth dollies, but she (almost 2 years old) was so attracted to these plastic toys. Corolle dolls are phthalate-free, which is about the best you can get for a less-chemical-y plastic doll.This doll is beautiful: her eyes open and shut nicely. She has the perfect weight for a dolly this size. I love that she is machine washable, as are her clothes.
It's a wonderful little doll, far better-made than other, cheaper dolls. I appreciate that Corolle is attempting to be more responsible with their plastics than other toy companies. She's worth the extra money--this dolly will endure endless hours of play, and likely last for her children.
This doll is the perfect size for my 2-year-old. I like that it is simple and doesn't "do" anything. My daughter just loves to dress and undress the doll and play with her. We love her eye lashes and sweet smell.
My 3-year-old has had a Corolle Calin Charming doll for almost 2 years. She plays with her EVERY day and sleeps with her every night. The doll has held up very well considering that she takes it everywhere! It is BY FAR her favorite doll! A few months ago one of the eyes failed to open and close, so I called Corolle and they asked me to ship it to them and they replaced it with the same doll! Corolle really stands behind their products. Of course I had to purchase this one for my 15-month-old for Christmas, and I can't wait till she opens it! She already loves her sister's doll. Great product and very cute!
Just the right size for little arms to love and carry around. Bought 3 of them for my granddaughters ages 15-22 months.They were a hit and they carried them around all Christmas day. Soft little bodies and moving eyes make them a little girl's delight. Great doll to be treasured for many years to come.

I will probably be posting more like this leading up to Christmas. If you're like me, you're tucking things away so as not to have to make a mad dash in December. Even if you have a low-scale Christmas, when you have a big family there's a lot to do. We have downsized so much that I would consider this a major Christmas present for a daughter. After all, it's not about how much things cost but about what will be the most meaningful thing they receive. A doll like this can be a very important part of a little girl's life.
Or a boy. I bought my boys baby dolls to play with. They didn't use them a whole lot, but they did imitate their dad. And not to worry - they all grew up to be big manly guys.
