Anti-Barbara Boxer ad in Spanish

Sponsored by the Susan B. Anthony List:

Our Values, Our Senator / Nuestros Valores, Nuestra Senadora

English Translation:

Our values make our people special.
Work. Family. Children.
Barbara Boxer doesn't share our values.
She supports abortion and homosexual marriage...
...and voted against immigration reform to permit our people to come here legally to work.
We've had enough of her talk.
Carly Fiorina for US Senate. Our values. Our senator.

Paid for by the National Organization for Marriage and the Susan B. Anthony List. Not authorized by any candidate or candidate's committee. www.sba-list.org, www.nationformarriage.org

The Hispanic vote is waking up to the fact that the Democrat party does not represent their values - oh, happy day!

The Hispanic people have conservative social values in general (not every individual of course, but in general). But they've tended to be Democrat because of the stereotype that conservative people are racist. A few conservative people actually were, and would push policies that harmed Hispanics. This helped keep the Hispanic vote on the Democrat side. As the Democrats get more and more extreme, the Republicans have a chance to garner some (or maybe most) of the Hispanic vote.
But we have to be welcoming to them. I personally think it's unwise to make too big a deal about illegal immigration per se (although individuals who live violent lifestyles can and should be deported after they serve their sentences).
In any event, we should be sympathetic to the Hispanic people.
