Nags Head PS - Hattie and Josh
One of the wonderful things about our trip to Nags Head last week was that Josh and Hattie were able to join us.
Hattie's been battling cancer, and for the past few years she has always had something happen that required surgery/recuperation just before we left.
This year looked like it was going to be the same. Another tumor appeared and Hattie was scheduled for surgery 9/29. But she and Josh decided to go to the Sloane-Kettering Cancer Treatment Center in New York to get another opinion. The opinion made a difference, as Hattie explains at her blog,
So we were very blessed to have all 10 Curtis kids and assorted spouses and sweethearts with us. My two oldest daughters were not there: Jasmine has once again closed the door. And with six kids under 18 and several soccer stars, Samantha and Kip just couldn't come.
Still, we're counting our blessings at a record number this year!

I'm sorry that Jasmine wouldn't come (and that Samantha couldn't) but I'm glad so many from the rest of the clan did. Who did the cooking for such a large group? (smile)

DEar Barbara, I have written twice to Hattie and Josn. I joined Google. BUt I am just not good on the computer so I don't know if they got my message or not. If they didn't please just let them know that I am praying for them and everything they are going through. If you remember I was a Nurse for over 40 years so I have some Ideas as to how this "medical stuff" works. It can be overwhelming and frustrating. So just know my prayers are going up to Heaven like Incense for ALL of you Jasmine too.....Also so GREAT About Jonny being Homecoming King. How wonderful....PRAISE JESUS FOR ALL HIS BLESSINGS, Love Becky
