Newseum tickets - 1/2 price!

Anyone else been dying to go to the Newseum? Now you have a chance to go for half-price. Buy tickets today or tomorrow and you can use them anytime before February 17. Each ticket is good for two consecutive days:

This was great news for our family, because we'd already planned to go next Tuesday when everyone is off work or home from school.

The Newseum is not a public museum, so it does have an admission price of $20 - so I was a thrilled this morning to find an email from Groupon with tickets selling for only $10. I promptly bought 7 and saved our family 70.

groupon-logo.jpgGroupon is a service I recently subscribed to which broadcasts special offers for members, based on their geographic location. If enough people are interested, the special price kicks in. This Newseum offer kicked in quickly - they needed 150 to make a deal and are currently have sold nearly 14,000 tickets at 1/2 price.

If you are interested in Newseum tickets they will be available until Saturday at midnight at Groupon .

I believe you can buy tickets without becoming a member of Groupon, but you might want to consider giving it a try. Signing up for Groupon is free and you will receive special offers in your own area.

Love,
