Do these people ever hear themselves? "Excuse the expression: Christmas party." This woman needs some serious intervention.

This is from the same camp that casually tosses around "retarded" and uses the f-word like a common conjunction.
How is it the educated elite are "smart"?

Hmmm which is more upsetting, the apology for the term Christmas party or the real concern of government employees about how much of my money they can spend on their office party ?

"They have no knowledge, who carry about their wooden idol and pray to a god who cannot save."
God has something to say about the educated elite (thinking of Ms. Totenberg's comment as well as the prayer to the Mayan goddess in the opening session of the UN Climate Change convention). I was comforted this morning as I read Isaiah 44-45. He is not surprised by any of this, and it merely serves to make the Christmas message so much brighter. Praising Him that He came to Redeem this dark world. Our only hope.

Well, I don't know who is having these Christmas parties. My husband works for the federal govt and you know who pays for the "parties?"
The employees.
Their party consists of everyone going out to lunch and paying for it themselves, including dinner and a gift for the secretary.
Must be the higher-ups having the parties.

I'm with Sue. I didn't know that Federal employees could have Christmas parties. My dh works for a private company and they cut Christmas parties out a few years ago. It was after some union negotiation, a way to save money, I suppose. Employees pay for their own parties.
Spineless....excuse the expression: liberals. Why GO to a Christmas party if you don't even have the guts to say Christmas party?
