Obama's FCC: "Free Internet access for every nappy-headed child"
Just another example of how the president who promised to heal racial division stacked his Regime with angry, divisive people who've done their best to whip up more.
Introducing Obama FCC Commissioner Mignon Clyburn, daughter of Congressman James Clyburn.
This is pitiful. An angry woman with power to spare recounting what appears to be - my best guess since much of it is unintelligible - a story about how her grandmother was given hand-me-down shoes, which apparently were not the right size. Again, I'm not clear, but it seems to have made her angry. For some reason she appears to think only black people receive hand-me-downs - and that the proper response is not gratitude, but seething resentment which matures into vengeance
The part about the "nappy-headed children" - an epithet which would fry the future of any white government official - begins around 2:45.
"Free Internet Access for every nappy-headed child" - interesting comments, too.
A woman with great potential to abuse power - very scary.

And if you happen to disagree with Net Neutrality, or the FCC over-reaching plan to control the Internet, you will be labeled as raaaacist. Much too typical of this administration, which injects racism into every public dialogue .... Ms. Clyburn's spiel was complete and vacuous nonsense, projecting social race/class offenses on to the Internet space. Internet technology is color-blind and class-free. As social media networking proliferates, the Web is almost ubiquitous -- and the transactional cost at the endpoints is lower and lower .... Her bio indicates several years of sitting on public utility boards & regulatory commissions. Small wonder that her thinking trends toward the view of the Internet as a public utility, and regulation in the name of social justice. Poor thinking, bad policy. I hope we survive this FCC commish and her leftist cohorts.

Watched this yesterday through Drudge, and could not believe the vitriol. Hand-me-downs are part of the culture.
Her dad is the congressman from South Carolina. Hmmm...I wonder if she got her job through a sort of "hand-me-down" deal, i.e., nepotism.
This stuff rankles me--big time.

Oh yeah, her dad being a Congressman and all, I could see how she might be so bitter. It's so unfair and insulting....hand me downs that don't fit.
I received hand me downs as a kid and still do as an adult. I take them and say "thank you". If they don't fit me or my children, I pass them on to someone else who might need them. It's called gratitude.
As far as the salutations, wasn't that part of the culture of the south at that time?
