**Ken Cuccinelli leading state resistance to Obamacare **
Ken Cuccinelli is Virginia's rising star Attorney General. I say rising star because he is a bold conservative who attracts a lot of flack from all the "smart" liberals even as he continues to make good choices for Virginia. Meanwhile he is setting the pace for other states and other Attorneys General. Those of us who compose the sleeping giant that awoke to form the grassroots campaign we call the Tea Party (and "smart" media libs/gutter snipes like Anderson Cooper mocked as Tea Baggers) must keep up our pace, now turning our eyes to state governments, which collectively are shaping up to effectively challenge our out-of-control federal government. It wasn't just the US House of Representatives landslide that spelled disaster for Democrats: it was also the turnover of state governorships and legislatures.
One state office we need to watch - and elect - more carefully is our State Attorney General. By the way he was attacked by the liberal media when he ran, conservative Virginians knew Ken Cuccinelli must have known he had everything we needed - for this time and this place.
And our confidence in him has proven very wise. Cuccinelli was the first to throw down the gauntlet on Obamacare, challenging Congress's authority to legislate a requirement that citizens purchase a product. Since this bold move, at least 20 states have joined the resistance. And on December 13 a federal judge ruled the Obamacare mandate unconstitutional - a decision the Obama Department of Justice is appealing - natch.
Ken Cucinelli is someone to watch closely. In the following talk at the Heritage Foundation, he describes why the office of State Attorney General is the last line of defense:
You can keep up with Ken and subscribe to the Cuccinelli Compass at Cuccinelli.com. Also, find out as much as you can about your state's attorney general and write him with your support for states rights vs. federal control (tyranny).December 16, 2010
This week's decision striking down Obamacare's individual mandate as unconstitutional was the result of a lawsuit filed by Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli.
Speaking last week at The Heritage Foundation's President's Club meeting in Washington, Cuccinelli argued both that the mandate is an overreach of federal power and that states like Virginia are right to challenge the law's constitutionality.

For the first time in my life, I am proud to be a Virginian.
Sorry, couldn't resist! :)
I am so proud of him and our state. Our Gov, L.G., and A.G are all fighting so hard for us!

I've been watching Ken Cuccinelli for almost 10 years when he was my rep. for my district in Fairfax. I've never been anything but impressed by this man.
