FBI arrests pro-abort terrorist for pro-life threats

The FBI arrested Theodore Shulman four days for stalking and threatening pro-life activists. ***Not a single Mainstream Media outlet has covered the story***

Thank God for LifeNews.com and four other alternate news outlets who've carried the word. Now it's up to bloggers to spread it.

Jill Stanek has researched and presented a full background on Shulman - son of radical feminist Alix Shulman who aborted his four siblings. What a lot of baggage to carry!

When I received threats from Shulman, I went to his website - now scrubbed from the Internet

operation-counterstrike-e1298662612889.png

It revealed a very sick, tortured and possibly dangerous person.  I checked his IP address to find he lived in New York, then printed out a few of his threats and put them in a file I keep for my husband just in case. Yesterday, when I read the news, I contacted the FBI and plan to turn over my own material to them.

This is a reminder to all of us how important people like Jill Stanek are in providing REAL news - rather than choking the airwaves with idiotic reports on - e.g. - Charlie Sheen.  Please pray for those who are willing to put everything on the line to tell the truth.

FBI Arrests Pro-Abortion Activist for Threatening Pro-Lifers

by Steven Ertelt | New York, NY | LifeNews.com | 2/25/11 2:56 PM

FBI officials have arrested a pro-abortion activist who reportedly threatened at least two unnamed pro-life advocates and other pro-life stalwarts.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation yesterday arrested abortion supporter Theodore Shulman, 49, and charged him with communicating interstate threats against two pro-life advocates. Shulman is currently being held without bond at Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York City, which is a federal holding facility.

Operation Rescue officials, who have been on the receiving end of Shulman's threats, were informed about the information in the complaint against him before it went under seal. The two people Shulman threatened  are simply referred to as Victim 1 and Victim 2 and the pro-life group told LifeNews.com it is withholding the identities  in order to protect their safety.

In addition to the two victims listed in the federal complaint against Shulman, Operation Rescue's two full-time staffers Troy Newman and Cheryl Sullenger as well as pro-life blogger Jill Stanek have been targets of the pro-abortion activist's threats.  Bryan Kemper, the founder of Stand true, the pro-life group that sponsors the red tape day for students to stand up in silent solidarity for unborn children at their schools, also received death threats from Shulman.

Shulman hounded Sullenger, in particular, over a two year time-span as he ran a pro-abortion blog site called Operation Counterstrike that Sullenger said "fomented hatred and attempted to encourage 'pro-choice' supporters to murder pro-lifer activists."

Shulman is also the object of a federal investigation in Wichita, Kansas, where Operation Rescue is located, which could result in additional charges filed against him for making serious death threats against Operation Rescue staff members.

"This is a huge relief to us that Ted Shulman is behind bars where he belongs," said Sullenger in a statement to LifeNews.

"He often posted threatening comments to our web site and called me on my cell phone too many times to count," she said. "He was always brazen in his threats and openly identified himself, telling us not to bother calling the FBI because they would never do anything for us. Thankfully, he was wrong about that, and we hope that, in addition to his New York charges, he will also be charged in Kansas."

"We continue to work with the FBI on the Shulman case and on other cases of death threats we have received. We take every threat seriously and have taken extra security precautions to insure our safety," she said.

Threats to Operation Rescue have increased in recent weeks after liberal pro-abortion MSNBC talk show host Rachel Maddow repeatedly targeted the group by airing inaccurate and inflammatory information about the pro-life group.

Thanks for providing this information, Barbara. All we've been hearing is crickets from anywhere else. We are living in "interesting" times.

Finally-some justice. And whoa! Scary guy, so scary. I remember the whole "follow them home" (the abortion protesters) thing. All of it is chilling. I plan to re post it!

I'm so glad that this dangerous individual is behind bars. Thank you for letting us know, and for the diligent way you responded to his harassment. This is a good reminder to redouble my prayers for the protection of those who work, speak and act to protect life, and to pray for the conversion of lost souls like Mr. Shulman.
