Seeing hope when times are tough!
Received this from my friend Margaret - who I met years ago through MommyLife - who just had her sixth baby/fith son.
I asked her if I could share because it spoke to me of how God sends little rays of beauty, peace and hope to us even when we are miserable. We just have to take care to notice!
Let's pray for Margaret today!
So i've been laying around on the couch all day trying to alleviate the pain from this spinal headache (secondary to my epidural going "bad" & becoming a spinal) and starting to feel sorry for myself when Declan gave me this beautiful smile. Just what I needed to put an end (or at least a pause) to my pity party :-)
Sorry I haven't been in touch, once the headache subsides I am hoping to feel like a part of the living again.
Love,
Margaret

I had a spinal headache after my fifth child was born and it was the most unbelievable pain I could possibly imagine. Please, consider going in for a blood patch. They take blood from your arm and inject it into your spine--unpleasant, yes, but the relief is immediate and you will walk out of there a new woman. God bless you, and baby Declan!
