The Voyage of the Dawn Treader - DVD giveaway
While I don't usually post giveaways on my main page, after an afternoon of posting eleven others at the usual spot, I decided to celebrate #12 by posting here and also reminding you to check out all the others at my official Reviews and Giveaways page. Please don't be shy. Sign up for any or all. Sign up whether you've ever left a comment or not. Sign up whether you agree or disagree with me. Knowing how much fun it is to get something free, I just enjoy the privilege of passing it on.
Now that the third episode of The Chronicles of Narnia is out on DVD, it's available for everyone to see,
I was blessed to see the movie when it was first released. My own review - including the history of Walden Media's on-again, off-again emphasis on the Christian themes inherent in C. S. Lewis' masterpiece for children (or those of childlike faith) - is here. While it's not a perfect movie - at least according to my daughters Maddy and Sophia - it is still one of the best.
I am very grateful to have received my own copy of the DVD and to be able to offer a giveaway so that three MommyLife readers may own the movie too.
I also want to let you know - so you can let your priests and pastors and youth leaders know - that there is a lot of material available to help you with studies and sermons at NarniaFaith.com. This includes clips which would normally be unavailable due to copyrights - which can enrich the teachings presented to youth groups and congregations.

A couple of my boys were just talking yesterday about how much they'd loved this movie. I never did see it. I'm sure they'd love to have a copy!

We enjoyed the movie at the theatre and would love to own a copy. The grandkids just watched the 2nd one again the other day at my house and I couldn't stop glancing in and getting absorbed in it from time to time as I moved about doing housework. I also got to enjoy having my grandson patiently explain the allegorical side to me. (I feigned ignorance, so delighted was I to get his telling of it.)

We really enjoyed this. I read the books to the kids when we were awaiting the release of the first one. We have all instantly became big fans of Narnia. Thanks for offering this.

I recently introduced to your blog by a friend. I love reading it for a good dose of common sense, rarely found these days. I enjoyed reading the Chronicles of Narnia w/ my kids. We saw the first 2 movies, hope to be a winner so we can see the 3rd! Thanks for doing this!
