Leesburg silent vigil today at 11 am
From Ken Reid, Leesburg Town Councilmember and candidate for Loudoun Board of Supervisors:
Dear FriendsWe are all very pleased with our military and intelligence community for striking down terrorist Osama Bin Laden over the weekend.
Today at 11 a.m., many of us will be gathering at King & Market Streets or near the Bible Reading Marathon in front of Shoes, Cup and Cork, to do a silent vigil in memory of the 3,000 whom Al Qaeda killed on 9/11/01. I will be bring a Hebrew bible from the 18th Century. Please bring any appropriate signs, flags at 11 a.m. today.
And above all, thank our President and military and CIA folks for bringing Bin Laden down.
Love,
