Loudoun Public Schools: Special ed nominations

The Loudoun County Special Education Advisory Committee (SEAC) is seeking nominations for recognition of those who have made outstanding contributions to the success of students with special needs.

SEAC will honor educators, programs, parents and students who go the extra mile to serve the Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) special education community and who inspire others to do the same. SEAC will be holding its first annual recognition ceremony on Tuesday, June 14th.

Nominations can be made by any member of the LCPS school community, including a school principal, students, individual parents, a parent association, a colleague, administrators or members of the School Board.

Nominations may be submitted by mail or online. To nominate online, click here and follow the instructions.

To nominate by mail, please use this form (Click here) and mail to:

Nominations must be postmarked or posted online by Friday, May 20th.

Nominations will be judged by a panel of LCPS educators, SEAC members and other community leaders.

Thank you for sharing, Barbara. There are many deserving individuals who teach, care for, and inspire our children. I hope this post reaches at least one individual who takes the time to recognize someone who makes their child's day a bit brighter. Remember our bus drivers, cafeteria workers, other students ..... there are many individuals in our schools that make a difference.
