ABC News' George Stephanopoulos said the media plans on investigating all 23 of Michele Bachmann's foster children, tries to get her to say she'd eliminate the minimum wage, tries to stir up trouble between her and Palin, and debates her about the founding fathers and slavery.Stephanopoulos: Finally one--one final question. I think one of the most impressive things that people find in your background is the fact that you and your husband have helped raise 23 foster children and I know you want to shield them but are they prepared and are you prepared for the loss of privacy that comes with the president campaign? And is that something you are concerned about for them?
Bachmann: Well when we were making this momentous decision we sat down for a long time as a family and contemplated what this was meaning and yes, we are ready. We have five wonderful biological children. Our last one is off to college our oldest one is a doctor. And then we had great - a great 23 foster children in our home as well. And as you can imagine and appreciate we've tried to keep a good handle on their privacy and we will do that, we will respect their privacy. We are thankful that we had them but we also want to observe their privacy and that of their families.
Whatever you do, never forget the disrespect and double standards when you talk to your friends and go to the voting booth.

This is when it isn't news anymore. There is so much garbage on-even on Fox! While I am a major fan of Michele Bachman, I don't care about the personal lives of her foster kids. I don't care about Sarah Palin's emails. That stuff doesn't have anything to do with how they would run the country. Also, I don't care and really don't want to be exposed to Weiner, Schwartzenegger, Edwards or anyone who makes bad choices.
The media is beyond reaching for straws.

Do you know what disgusts me? The fact that George Stephanopoulos attempts to place the onus to protect those foster children on Michele Bachman! The onus is on the media to not invade their privacy while they're "digging for dirt," and if those foster children's privacy is invaded, it will be at the hands of the media; NOT Michele Bachman's.
Having worked with foster children, I'll bet that there are some who will be happy to disparage even the best of foster parents, just as there are some who are simply grateful for having been received into a family for whatever time they were there. I'm almost certain the media, if they do find these foster children, will highlight only any who might be inclined to provide information that can be twisted into some negative light, all in an effort to forward the MSM agenda which is to impugn the character and reputation of any who dare diverge from the liberal path.
