Loudoun: act now to oust Scott York

stevestockman-home1.jpg

Time is Running Out

Download the 2011 Delegate Filing Form

Must file by July 10 5PM! If you haven't filled out a form, please contact us and we'll be happy to bring you a form, or you can download one using the download button to the right. If you haven't turned your form in yet, please call our campaign office to get your delegate forms picked up.

To all Loudoun County conservatives:

This is last minute, but I'm hoping you will join me in filing as a delegate, then showing up at Tuscarora High School on July 23 so we can vote for Steve Stockman as Republican candidate for Chairman of the Board of Supervisors.  This is a once-in-a-lifetime (so to speak) chance to get rid of this out-only-for-himself politician who has not served Loudoun well at all but who seems to have a huge machine behind him.

Things have gotten so down and dirty that conservatives Ken Reid and Eugene Delgaudio have endorsed Scott York and vice versa.  How two so-called conservatives could stab their supporters in the back like this is beyond me.  But now without anyone to stand against Scott York, we must go after him ourselves.  Maybe with conservative leadership, Reid and Delgaudio will act as conservatives, but I don't see how they could be counted on to represent conservatives when they are making backroom deals with Scott York.

Would you please consider signing up and having your spouse and any other conservatives you know sign up to be delegates on July 23?  If you need a babysitter, my kids will be happy to volunteer.  Could we each try to get at least two more people?  We will need 100 delegates for Stockman to pull this off.  But then, just think, we would be free of Scott York!

Delegate signup deadline is July 10 at 5PM so please hand deliver your Delegate Filing Form to Mark Sell, Chairman, Loudoun County Republican Committee at 1-12 Smarts Lane Leesburg, VA.  If you are crunched for time call Dave LaRock  703 297 7444 and someone will pick up your form and deliver it for you.

I know we're all pretty busy and some details of Scott York's history may have escaped your notice.  Here's some help catching up:

Please feel free to forward to ALL your conservative Loudoun friends.  But time is of the essence.  I'm filling out my form and delivering it tomorrow.  Tripp's is already in.

We have four family members registered for the convention July 23, to support Steve Stockman. Will Estrada, the head of GenJ, feels that York is more electable in the general election due to his name recognition. I would like to think that some motivated citizens could inform our neighbors of York's record. I'm dismayed that he once was a Republican, then changed parties, then "came back". To me, this seems like Arlen Spector, just being opportunistic. I appreciate Stockman's attempt, and I'm glad this is a convention, so Democrats shouldn't be able to skew results. We really ought to identify by party on our voter registration cards.

I sent in my and my husband's form in the mail but I'm not sure it will arrive by the deadline. I agree I'd love to see York go and I'm sure willing to do my part. Might need to talk to you about the baby sitter part though... not sure how we'll deal with child care on the 23rd but I guess we'll figure something out.
