Paul Simon and Miraim Makeba - African concert
Maddy emailed this to her dad and me. I can't begin to say how happy I am that my kids have such broad musical taste - that they're curious about all genres and eras.
If that is something you want for your children, start early to introduce them to lots of music. As Maria Montessori said, give them the world - not meaning materially, but culturally.
I will be writing more on multiculturalism (the good kind) this week - also adding to the Tantrum-Proof series.
And these two music icons - together in sunny Africa. It doesn't get much better than that.
