It's been a while! Just to update you on the latest from the SBA List:
Defunding Planned Parenthood: State by State
Today we launched our Defund Planned Parenthood State by State Scoreboard:
SBA List efforts during the federal budget fight gave Planned Parenthood a black eye and exposed the truth: it is a business centered around abortion, and a willing ally of those that wish to harm young girls in the sex trafficking business. Since Washington failed to defund Planned Parenthood, states across the country have been picking up the fight and working to defund Planned Parenthood themselves. SBA List grassroots activists have been on the front lines of that fight to keep up the momentum so we can bring this issue back to the federal level.

Pro-life Presidential Leadership Pledge
Launched at the Republican Leadership Conference, our Pro-life Presidential Leadership Pledge has been signed by five GOP Presidential candiates: Michele Bachmann, Newt Gingrich, Ron Paul, Tim Pawlenty, Rick Santorum. Mitt Romney and Herman Cain have refused to sign the Pledge (their reasoning available here), and Jon Huntsman has until Wednesday COB before we consider it a refusal.[update: Huntsman refused to sign]
The Pledge requires the candidates--if elected President--to:
1, to nominate judges who are committed to restraint and applying the original meaning of the Constitution, not legislating from the bench;2, to select only pro-life appointees for relevant Cabinet and Executive Branch positions (Ex. NIH, DOJ, DHHS)
3, to advance pro-life legislation to permanently end all taxpayer funding of abortion, defund defund Planned Parenthood
4, advance and sign into law a Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act to protect unborn children who are capable of feeling pain from abortion.
Related to this, already over 10,000 Americans have signed their names to the Citizen's Pledge to only support Presidential candidates who have signed the Pledge. If you haven't already signed, please join us!One Minute Radio Commentaries Available to Post
