Obama's new branding: Teddy Roosevelt

Obama-Kansas-speech-.jpgApparently the cynicism and inauthenticity of the Obama Regime knows no bounds. Making a conscious decision to reach back in history for yet another icon to identify with - following Kennedy, FDR and Lincoln - the Boy Wonder's PR Team has settled on Theodore Roosevelt.

So today Obama flew with his entourage to Osawatomie, Kansas to deliver a "populist" speech - aka class warfare - so the Propaganda Press could obediently begin the new branding process. This of course counts on the American people being too dumb to realize that Obama and Teddy Roosevelt have little in common - and that the speech Obama gave is based on lies since he is the worst offender when it comes to crony capitalism and corruption - funding bogus corporations with taxpayer dollars so they can contribute to his burgeoning campaign coffers before they hand out generous donations and declare bankruptcy.

Since we will be besieged by the White House Propaganda machine with the Obama/Teddy Roosevelt brand, here's the background:

Theodore Roosevelt's Osawatomie Speech

by Robert S. La Forte

Summer, 1966 (Vol. 32, No. 2), pages 187 to 200

ON AUGUST 31, 1910, Theodore Roosevelt delivered what was perhaps the most important speech ever given in Kansas. Surrounded by 30,000 enthusiastic listeners at Osawatomie, he developed a political creed which became a milestone along the road to the modern all-powerful state. This speech, later called the "New Nationalism Address," evoked a wide variety of responses. It was labeled "Communistic," "Socialistic," and "Anarchistic" in various quarters; while others hailed it "the greatest oration ever given on American soil." What then were the circumstances surrounding the address? What was the Kansas role in the drama at Osawatomie? Why was that town chosen for such an auspicious moment in history? And why did an ex-President devise a comprehensive political program such as the "New Nationalism?"

I am really loathing our press right now, which diligently chases any possible negative in conservatives, ignoring rampant Democrat/corporation/labor union cronyism and corruption, and allows Obama to put on these masquerades in which he accuses everyone else of wrongdoing.

By the way, he is still campaigning on our dime. This is supposed to be illegal. And about to leave on 17 days of vacation even as the Middle East is churning and the warnings of conservatives that "The Arab Spring" was not a push for democracy but a shove toward radical Islamization are being realized as the Muslim Brotherhood is more and more in charge.

Barack Hussein Obama, you are no Theodore Roosevelt - on so many levels. But here's one funny one:

Are people still influenced by the media with respect to their views on this guy? I don't care what kind of media pr stunt he does, he can NEVER change my opinion. I have to think most people either like him or they don't, and I can't imagine the media changing that. Now, if we end up with the misfortune of another 911 type event, I'm sure the media will convince some that he's the greatest thing to walk the face of the earth. Short of that, I doubt it.
