Most, but not all, of the US bishops have had their heads in the ground or else fingers in their episcopal ears when critics tried to warn them of Obama's agenda.This is the evil fruit of their long-standing policy of "hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil" when it comes to the social justice crowd.
Now they appear to be in panic mode. I hope and pray they haven't missed the window of opportunity.

I know what you mean, Judy. I guess I'm the eternal optimist. I'm thinking that this might all be coming down perfectly as we see how hard we really have to work to defend our faith - and our bishops are finally seeing it too!
I've decided to support Santorum. I know that's late in coming, but it will be full steam ahead. He is the only worthy candidate and the only one who would turn this around.

Archbishop Dolan was not prophetic but unwittingly professing what should have been prophesized 39 years ago. We are now at the point that was ahead! The fundamental freedom was life itself and government tampered with it diabolically! What did the shepherds of the “church” expect after the slaughter of defenseless millions of Unborn Americans by the Deadly Abortionist/Democrat Alliance? No voices were heard condemning the alliance and those (in the pews) who brought them to power. They are now the “militant state” in America, a force that will not be denied. They are close to achieving their goal and the condition of “timid church” in America will not prevent them. Too little too late from the shepherds to save America and true freedom for the sheep.
