In six days, I will finally be attending Marine OCS. I have striven to attain this goal for years, and by God's grace, I am finally within reach of the prize.
I have prepared to my utmost, and with God's help, on March 30, I will attain my lifelong desire and become a Marine.
I thank you all for your prayers and encouragement, and humbly ask for your continued support in this great challenge/adventure.

Congratulations to Zach! It seems like yesterday that he had that set back with the motorcycle accident. God bless him for his tenacity and his heart for service. Keeping him, and all of our men and women in the military, in my prayers.

Hi Barbara, just wanted to send a greeting from a Marine mom who reads your blog! My 18 year old son is a Marine. You will be so proud and scared at the same time...it will be quite a journey! Semper fi!

I know I'm reading this so late, but what exciting news!! My Marine has been in for almost 20 years and it has been quite the journey. I hope he loves it!
