I appreciate the Catholics' sentiment about non-accommodation for them, however, the rights of pro-life/anti-promiscuity Americans of all faiths and even no particular faith don't get accommodation, either.
Which is why they never should have supported this abomination of a law.

Marie, I think you'll like the article I just finished - to be published tomorrow - on the evangelical/Protestant response and the new solidarity between us. the reason this is coming across as Catholic is because they've been quick to respond, unusually strong in their language, and spending money on ads.
Because the Catholic Church is hierarchical, our bishops were able to mandate that their letters informing Catholics of their responsibility to become involved within two weeks of the pronouncement. Which meant that the news traveled fast and those in doubt knew where our leaders stood.
Still, 2500 evangelical pastors/leaders have come together to produce a letter of protest for Obama's Regime.
This is not a Catholic issue, as Rick Warren, Albert Mohler and Mike Huckabee have all eloquently pointed out. the latter even saying, "We are all Catholics now.
