Komen/Planned Parenthood cartoon round-up
I love editorial cartoons, which convey at a glance what would take me 1000 words to explain, giving proof to the maxim that a picture is worth a thousand words. Amazing how within 24 hours of announcing their intention to withdraw funds from Planned Parenthood because their bylaws prohibit funding organizations under investigation - and PP is continuously under investigation throughout the 50 states - the Komen Foundation lost its liberal halo and was savaged into submission.Suddenly, exposes and accusations appeared, as this video cartoon from Mother Jones accusing Komen of pink-washing carcinogenic corporations - which apparently they never noticed until Komen dropped its PP funding:
But the foundation still continues its long-running practice of "pink washing" corporate sponsors who sell products with chemicals that may link to the kinds of cancer Komen is on a mission to end. Here is a round-up of editorial cartoons representing both sides of the controversy:Watch video here![]()

Suddenly Nancy Brinker is a monster and the Komen Foundation is a social pariah.
No one should ever feel secure in thinking that a friendship or alliance with the Left will protect you from this kind of savagery. Even the "nicest" person is only one misstep away.
Love,
